WINDY WINTER

Hi friends,

This winter is pretty windy,most of the days we are getting east winds which means it,s windy at the north shore of Gran Canaria.

There has been good swell coming and I had some incredible starboard tack sailing with nice size waves,really similar conditions like Maui.

FIRST SESSION IN THE NORTH.

Hi friends,

yesterday I went to the north and score the first session of the winter at Boquines with pretty nice size waves and wind for 5.0.

I don,t have pic to show because I went by my self.

Next week forecast looks good!!

WORLD CUP SYLT.

Hi friends,

NO wind in Sylt this year,we just had the best weather of the year with clear skies and sun shinning.

We only could do some sup races where the Canarian Team Bruch,Iballa and I got 3th in the first day and 2th position in the second day.

Plus Ricardo,Braw,Kauli and I try to do some tow-in jumping but the waves were not good enough to do big things.

So PWA tour is over,I got a 6th place overall this year wich is not bad but looking forward for 2012 to do better.

Congrats to Phillip for winning the tour and for sure to Ricardo,Kauli,Victor and Dani.

Now time to relax and free sailing!

9TH PLACE IN DENMARK!

Hi friends,

We have finished the event in Denmark with super harder conditions ever,the rest of the huracan with strong winds and big waves.

Now will come the Sylt event,so everything ready!

Hi Friends,

yesterday we went to Siam Park to train a bit for the Siam Park event but unfortunally the jet ski didn,t arrived in time so we had to surf a bit!

we surfed for an hour and I managed to get some waves in with the sup aswell wich was pretty fun.

Keep updated today will have a jumping session already.

PWA EVENTS OVER FINALLY!!

PWA Canaries events has been great!!all of then with good conditions so far!!

Pozo was really strong this year,Incredible show at the beach were I got the 3th place after beating swift,kauli,brawnzinho and ricardo one after the other,so pretty happy to finally get a podium at home together with Phillip and Victor.

Tenerife was also good event,conditions were bit hard as we got a lot of seaweed making it impossible to have speed to jump or do almost anything but good enough to do a 7th place and keep a good overall result,right now I,m on 4th place overall and looking forward to do a good result in Denmark and Sylt and if everything goes well finish in top 3.

Now it,s time to relax a bit from all the events.

Yesterday we had tipical Pozo winds,I think we had gusts over 40 knots.

Long time that the wind didn,t show up so strong.

Only the best one and the one with big ball could managed to do some really high jump,so it was a show for the people at the beach.

From 14-20 of july will take place the Pwa wave event in Medano.
Now we still waiting for dates of the event of Pozo that is a shame that at this time we don,t have it.

I,m meeting my boards these days in pozo,conditions been pretty flat but today couple of waves show up enough to do some jumps and see how my boards respond which it,s been pretty good!!

FWC IS OVER SO TO MORROCCO!

Hi friends,

FWC has finished with some great sessions where all the riders show good level of the best waveriding!
Different spots were breaking this 2011 from mellow Entubadera and Caleta to heavy breaks in big Puertito.
So was time to pass page and flight to Morroco where it,s been really good conditions since day 1.
Perfect conditions there for all the water sports form windsurfing to sup and surfing.
So all they in the water.

I had a lot of different conditions all these days of FWC,from small waves in caleta and entubadera to really big-heavy light wind in Puertito.

We still waiting for day to have do some heat to have a result as Puertito was too light the other day and was really hard to get in.
